The Slash 9.9 X0 AXS T-Type is a top-of-the-line carbon enduro bike that fearlessly tackles any off-road challenge. Its OCLV Mountain Carbon frame and high-pivot suspension with 170mm of travel take even the biggest obstacles in stride and excel in tight berms and on challenging climbs with superb traction. A 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel promise playful handling, while the robust RockShox suspension package effortlessly tackles every task on the trail. It also comes equipped with SRAM’s wireless X0 AXS drivetrain, which shifts precisely even under load.
High-pivot suspension
The Slash’s high main pivot point creates a rearward axle path when the suspension compresses, causing the rear wheel to move with the force of the impact and thus react more quickly to bumps. On the trail, this makes the suspension feel extremely supple and maintains speed while offering impressive traction.
No more pedal kickback
The large upper pulley on the Slash not only eliminates pedal kickback from the high pivot point, but its size and positioning also guarantee optimal anti-squat values for high drivetrain efficiency. The lower pulley reduces chain tension at the derailleur for smoother shifting and optimal suspension performance.
Mullet wheel configuration
With the 29-inch front wheel, you can tackle even big climbs head-on, while a smaller 27.5-inch rear wheel provides more maneuverability on rough terrain. Want the maximum speed of a 29er setup? Simply swap the lower shock mount (sold separately). This lowers the bottom bracket, allowing you to mount a faster 29-inch rear wheel.
Optimized integrated storage compartment
The storage compartment lid on the Slash is larger, more practical, and all plastic parts are made from recycled materials.
Adjustable setup for full throttle downhill riding
Adjust the leverage ratio by simply flipping the flip chip. Ride your bike in the less progressive setting for a smoother feel on rough trails with harder impacts. Flip the chip to the more progressive position when you want to ride big climbs without worrying about bottoming out – or when you want to use a coil shock.
You decide: slack or steep steering angle
Install angled bearing cups (available as an option) to raise or lower the seatpost by one degree without affecting the bottom bracket height.
Size-specific chainstays
Size-specific chainstays ensure balanced handling: high agility for smaller riders, optimal front wheel traction on climbs for larger riders.
Quiet and well protected
A sophisticated chainstay protector reduces chain movement, ensuring a quiet ride, while removable downtube protectors deflect rock strikes. For increased durability, an additional protective layer, the integrated Carbon Armor, is located beneath the paintwork.
